- Dr. Whichard completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Clinical Center for the Study of Child Development and Learning (CDL) at UNC-CH, now known as the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities where she obtained a variety of clinical experiences (e.g., neuropsychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations at a center focused on the assessment/treatment for abused children, school psychological services for elementary and middle schools, supervision of psychology practicum students) and was exposed to a number of clinical populations (e.g., developmentally delayed, autistic, behaviorally disordered, abused/traumatized, learning disabled).
Dr. Whichard lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, developmental psychologist and researcher; and two children.
